Gardening and Canning Classes are available to individuals, families and small groups. The healthiest and most enjoyable foods you will ever eat are the ones you have grown yourself. From ground prep, planting – seeds and plants, maintenance all the way to the harvest is taught in this hands on class. If you are interested in having the summer bounty available throughout the winter months canning, freezing and dehydrating will be your next step. There is NOTHING more satisfying then eating your own tomato soup, vegetable soup, dill pickles or salsa in the middle of winter. BUT the canning process has to happen in the planting stage so you have the proper vegetables to harvest to make the foods you want stored.
